Amanda the Panda Family Grief Center supports children, teens, young adults, and adults after the death of a loved one. Since 1980, they have delivered love and caring through innovative services such as weekend grief camps, support groups, fun days, school visits and holiday support to inspire hope and healing after the death of a loved one.
They also have a grief camp, which began in 1982, which is the first and longest running camp of its kind in the United States. They have served families from 98 of the 99 counties. Campers are divided into age-appropriate groups to focus on grief-related activities designed to bring them hope and healing as well as introduce them to other individuals facing a similar experience.
